Hi, my name is Sachiko. I am a visual designer working remotely based in Tokyo. I specialize in UX and UI, Web, and Branding design.

About me

After majoring in design informatics at university, my first career started as a display designer. I gained experience designing spaces and promotional materials for seven years, and then I started working in the digital realm five years ago. The clients that I worked with are from startups to global brands.

I value creating designs that positively affect people's hearts and minds, cultivating enjoyment, comfort, and attachment, which is why I wanted to become a designer as a student. If you are passionate about enriching people's daily lives, I would love for us to work together.

When I'm not at my computer, I like listening to music, playing the piano, and watching anime over coffee. I find them very relaxing, and they are great pick-me-ups to come up with good ideas!

Writing

I am interested in examining design history and typography and was given the opportunity to submit my thoughts as an article. Listed below are the articles to which I have contributed.

The Bauhaus created the essence of modern design with the aim of blending art and craft
Futura: Sans serif typeface pursuing functional beauty
Helvetica: Common language of visual communication
Swiss Style organized the principles of modernism and connected them to modern times
Myriad: Sans serif typeface for digital environments with a human touch
Optima: One and only elegant and modern sans serif typeface
Use of "Didot" and "Bodoni," two leading luxury typefaces
Select a font that matches your design, based on the components of a typeface!
